Lake County Discovery Museum/Lake County Forest Preserves Internships

 

Volunteer education interns are needed to help with Lake County Forest Preserve Summer Day Camps.  Camps are developed jointly between Museum educators and Forest Preserve environmental educators. Volunteer interns work with Forest Preserve and Museum staff teaching children from 2nd-4th grade, in beautiful natural settings throughout Lake County, Illinois.  Gain valuable education experience for a teaching, museum, or environmental education career.  Minimum time commitment is only two weeks; dates and locations are flexible.  Camps run Monday through Friday, from June to August. Additional museum projects may also be available.  Good internship opportunity, depnending on the requirements of your program.  Interested candidates may send a cover letter and resume to:
