FYI most mp3 players and CD audio players can be used for walking tours in some form.

Disadvantages include: theft of equipment, battery replacement and charging problems, programming difficulties, lack multi-language ability, dropping durability (most mp3 players use small hard drives), easy of operation for staff and logical and fast content access limitations. Walking tours with the JVC XAGP3BK (http://www.avitra.com/maz/walking/) mp3 player can fix all that and pricing competitive with the most expensive ipod.
