Elizabeth,

The McCord Museum in Montreal has a fine collection of cradleboards from the eastern woodlands. I noticed them last spring during a behind-the-scenes tour organized by the Fiber Perishables Interest Group of the Society for American Archaeology, at the SAA's annual meeting.

Try this link: http://www.mccord-museum.qc.ca/en/ for contacts; someone there should be able to advise on the age and provenience of your boards.
