I also recommend printing them yourself.  We purchased uncut clear mailing label in full 8.5" x 11" sheets and printed stickers with an inkjet printer, then we cut them to the shape we needed to add exhibition dates to an advertising poster.  If you use the clear labels, then you could cut out simple squares and rectangles no matter the shape of the printed object, and that would save on cutting-out time.

Why couldn't you scan the pictures you want on the stickers into your computer, buy some stickers for computer printers and print out yourself. I would think this would save money.
