Greetings, I have written many grants, but always as part of a museum or academic institution. I have held senior positions in both museums and academe. Currently, I am in the midst of developing my own Leisure-Time Learning services group for non-profits... formulating mission objectives etc. Someone just contacted me about helping them with a grant. It is a national non-profit; I believe in their mission. I have no clue what is a resonable charge for "grants writing" work. The only consult/exhibit hourly work I have done was for Hewlett-Packard... that was about 8 years ago! and I charged $145 an hour. I know that is not feasible in the not-for-profit world. Can any of you help me with at lkeast a fee range. Thanks! Lois Lois Brynes, Principal DeepTime Associates P.O.
