Hello all,

My husband is a visual artist -- predominantly oil, charcoal and
graphite figure drawing-- and we have only recently, for the past year
or so, embarked on the long learning curve of marketing. Galleries vs.
selling out of one's own studio. Pricing high. Pricing low. Audience.
Retailers. Neighbor discounts!! It goes on and on... Anyway, he and
another artist couple in our neighborhood, at my suggestion, are hosting
our First Annual 'art walk' in November. The tension is building, but
I'm sure we can all pull off a class act.

I'll let you know how it goes.
