The
Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) seeks an
assistant
curator of exhibits at the Old Capitol Museum of Mississippi History. Duties include primary research for exhibits
as well as writing and editing exhibit text and daily maintenance of
museum’s
exhibits Employee will also assist in
production and implementation of exhibits such as setting-up display
systems
and building exhibit furniture. Must be
able to work in a team environment, be multi-tasked, and willing to
learn. Position requires a degree in history,
southern studies, or a related field.
Starting hourly rate is $10.65 plus generous benefits. Send cover letter, resume, and three
