Why isn't Paul Marty on our committee! >>> [log in to unmask] 9/16/2004 10:12:58 AM >>> Readers may be interested in an article in September's FIRST MONDAY that reports on a study of 36 museum websites, used to build a conceptual framework to analyze the "usability flaws" of museum sites. The study used results from 119 scenario-based evaluations and comes up with 15 insights that the authors characterize as "dimensions" (eg "too much content and too many choices may lead users to focus on only one area at the expense of others") grouped under five "characteristics" (e.g. "Museum Web sites have large amounts of rich content").
