Hello Museum-L: A past donor to our museum has asked that I post to the list an artifact that he'd like to donate to an interested museum. He has in his possession a set of 1915 classroom maps that were used in a school in Tennessee Valley, Bell County, Texas. (The Tennessee Valley community is no longer in existence. It was inundated during the formation of Belton Lake in the 1950s.) The maps are the type that are mounted on the wall and pulled down like window shades. Anyone interested in procuring these maps for their museum collection may contact me and I will put the donor in contact with them. I assume that the museum would need to pay the cost of having the artifact shipped or picked up. Thank you, Amanda Dyer Curator Bell County Museum ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
