Event:     San Jose State University Hosts 11th Annual Art History Symposium

The 11th annual San Jose State University Art History Symposium will take place on Saturday, November 6, 2006, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, sponsored by the San Jose State University Art History Association, will include graduate and undergraduate student speakers from many California universities.

Students will give 20-minute presentations on topics concerning the history of art from Ancient to Contemporary Art, East to West; a wide variety of cultures will be discussed.

The day-long symposium will be held on the SJSU campus in the Engineering Building Auditorium, Room 189. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and admission is free. Lunch is available and requires pre-registration.
