Our goal is to encourage a diverse group of presentations on the
 expected and unexpected consequences and repercussions of trail and treaty
 history in the Pacific Northwest  up to and including  present day
 commemorations.  

Papers, panels, literary pieces, film and art on this topic will be
 considered.

Proposals due October 30, 2004.

The PNW Historians Guild was founded  in 1980 and held its first meeting on the University of

Washington campus.  In 1983, the first Guild Conference was held in Seattle.
