I just started in February, and my predecessor did not bother with loan
papers. I have done loan papers to be renewed on a yearly basis. The
loan agreement gives us full reproduction rights. THese are massive
murals that the children's home removed from their original 1917
building and now have nowhere to hang them. So they loaned to us. They
don't want them back because lack of storage and exhibit space, however,
they don't want to give them to us either. Which makes working with
them (who by the way is the reason the town was founded) very
interesting.

"Permanent loan?" Isn't that an oxymoron? Do you own
reproduction rights with this "loan"? That would influence whether or
not you can give permission reproduction.

We are wanting to reproduce some large pieces of artwork that we
have on permanent loan from a local children's home. Does anyone have
any samples of legal forms giving reproduction permission? You can
contact me off list at this e-mail address. Thanks
