We have a research center, but we don’t charge for access to it. We do charge $15 an hour for assisted research after the first half hour. We rarely use the fee since most requests can be handled quickly by our taking out the appropriate files and books for the researcher. If we do collect funds, it goes towards maintaining the collections.

Hope this helps,

Erica

Subject: Research Fee

I'm posting this question for a colleague:

"Do any of you charge the general public for access to your reading room or research library?  If so, how much and is that fee applied towards something specific at your institution?"

Thank you.
