Work Schedule:               40 hours per week with flexible scheduling with evening and weekend hours as needed

Salary Range:                  P6 / Exempt/Salaried Professional Position

Status:                              Immediate start date desired.

 

Position Summary:

The Marketing Director is a key member of Pearl S. Buck International (PSBI) primarily responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a strategic communications/community relations plan to shape public perception and build donor, client, and community involvement and support. Responsibilities include development and implementation of PSBI's integrated marketing plan and strategies, management of all media relations, internal/external communication tools and support of government relations.  The Marketing Director will supervise marketing support staff, serve as a member of Management Team, liaison with department heads, and serve as a resource to the Board of Directors and as a PSBI's spokesperson making public presentations/speeches and managing information tables at various venues.

 

Position Requirements:

*     Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, with minimum 5 years employment experience in a marketing director position 

*     Must have valid driver's license & current automobile insurance coverage & the ability to travel within the community throughout the workday with full time access to an automobile

*     Ability to work 40 hours a week with flexible scheduling to include evening & occasional weekends when needed for special event activities, & speaking engagements

*     Understanding of community outreach, volunteer development, partnerships & coalition building, individual & group work skills

*     Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on written communication skills, speech writing, & public speaking

·     Has developed & implemented highly effective marketing and media relations activities

*     Has had direct responsibility for design and publication of PR/Marketing materials

*     Has hands on experience in developing design specifications for a Web-site

*     Detail oriented, highly organized, self-starting, innovative, articulate, high energy, reliable, team player, & resourceful are desirable attributes

Buck International (PSBI), a non-sectarian organization that provides development and humanitarian assistance is seeking a highly motivated individual to develop and implement our community relations program, public relations plan, and integrated marketing plan and strategies.  This is a full-time position at our international home office located in Dublin, PA (Bucks County).
