please, please get me off of this list--I have followed directions--and still can't get off. How hard should this be? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jennifer Lonergan" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Thursday, May 13, 2004 6:18 AM Subject: Re: Survey of Teachers' use of the Web Hi Eric, I would be very interested in receiving a copy of the survey--we're currently looking at ways of making the website more relevant to the curriculum, more educational, etc. Thanks! The survey had over 1200 respondants who answered 23 questions related to their use of the WWW for teaching in general, and specifically as a part of an informal education experience. A report analyzing the results of this survey is now available. We were able to persuade the NYC Department of Education to distribute the survey through their in-house email system, which resulted in well over a 1000 responses from NYC public school educators. As far as I know, this is the largest such survey, and we will be glad to email it to anyone who would like a copy. Special thanks are due to the National Science Foundation's Informal Science Education program for their support, and to Altered Image designing the survey and working hard to reach so many teachers.
