A past donor called our museum yesterday and wished to donate to the museum a WWII Navy uniform. The wearer of the uniform served in the Pacific and was from Bell County, Texas. We explained to the patron that because our museum already has two similar uniforms, our Collections Committee would likely decline the donation. However, our director told him that we would help him try to find a home for the uniform. Is there anyone out there interested in acquiring this uniform for your museum, or interested in learning more about it? Thanks in advance for any and all help!
