CALL FOR PAPERS The Midwest Popular Culture Association will hold its annual meeting on October 8-10, 2004 at the Radisson Hotel-Gateway, Cleveland, Ohio. The Libraries, Museums, and Collecting Area is seeking papers dealing with any aspect of popular culture as it pertains to libraries, archives, museums, collection policies, and research. Possible topics include trends in collecting popular culture materials, the effects of technology on museum services, issues surrounding specific exhibitions, and the role of the hall of fame concept in shaping popular culture. Conference Participation Please send a 100-word abstract by e-mail if possible to the area chair by April 30, 2004.
