Japanese Cannons fall essentially into two catagories. Cermonial temple 
guns and real artillery. The real artillery is based on western traditon.
Maybe try Dr. Atwater at the Aberdeen proving ground museum....or West
Point Museum...if it is real artilllery....if it is a temple gun try the
Japanese at the U.N. or the Ambassador.
Although the Japanese shot the Russian fleet to pieces, their artillery was
a bit lacking as compared to ours.
