Job Description: Director of Development (part-time)
Responsibilities:
cultivating donors, both
corporate and individual, for the capital campaign, creating and producing
annual fund solicitations, creating and marketing planned giving program and
endowment fund, creating and producing annual event(s) recognizing donors,
managing donor data base, researching, writing and administering foundation and
government grants, creating and marketing a membership program, working with the
Executive Director to create departmental budget, and acting as a liaison to the
steering committee.
Qualifications: minimum B.A.
in related field with four years experience in development. Must be a team player with a sense of
humor. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft
Office and GiftMaker. Must be able to lift 35 pounds. Experience working in a
museum or historic site a plus.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with
experience.
