I dont know if this will help but the Lackawanna Coal Co, outside Scranton Pa. may be able to assist you. I don't know if they have a website( didnt look honestly) but they can be reached at570-963-mine. This is in the heart of Pennsylvania mining co right in the Applachians. It is run by the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission I belive , this may be additional help.

I was hoping someone might have some information on coal miners clothing in the early l900's? In both outergarments and undergarments? Also, any information on women's clothing, as it would pertain to families living in the coal camps. I am interested primarily in coal mining clothing in the Appalachian region and the midwest.
I write historical poetry and want to get all details accurate.
