We are definately located by a body of water or to be more exact on a body of water. We are an island on the DesPlaines river. We do some natural history presentations (the water as a habitat), and some cultural history exploration (canoe trips on the DesPlaines aand the I & M Canal). But the vast majority of our work centers on the importance of the rivers to the French Indian fur tradee of the 17th century. We do both 1st and 3rd person interpretation. Canada was definately a huge part of this trade so this would be a definate avenue I would explore. If you wannt more info let me know.
