This may be more of a concern for the established museum than for you, but the contract should state what materials may and may not be removed from the exhibit, and guidelines for including additional material, should the need arise at some point to alter the exhibit. Of course, the contract should also clarify whose insurance is covering the exhibition--usually, it will be the borrower (ie., your institution).
