We just visited the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE, and found a small exhibit explaining use of a fuel cell for the Lied Jungle Exhibit building. There is much technical information on this specific project online. One overview is at http://www.state.ne.us/home/NEO/april2002/apr01.htm. There is some interest in using hydrogen fuel cells as a full or partial power-source for the building. There is a thematic tie-in, as AOW's exhibits will explore alternate fuels for transportation, but we have a lot of questions about using such new technology. Can anyone recommend a public building using fuel cells? Possibly even a museum? References are greatly appreciated.
