Tucson is great! Try hiking in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of town. There is an entrance at the Catalina State Park. A good restaurant is the Blue Willow. The Arizona Historical Society Museum and Tohono Chul, a botanical museum, are both worth visiting.

I go to the Tucson area every year for Christmas. It's such a great place.
Definitely see San Xavier del Bac. Gorgeous. The, there's the Arizona
State Museum and the art museum on the U of A campus. Across the street
from the Arizona State Museum is the Arizona Historical Society. That's a
great place too. For lunch or dinner near campus, eat at Gentle Ben's.
(Great local microbrewery.) If the weather's nice (and it should be), you
should make a trip up Mount Lemmon. Great scenery and views. Perhaps
Saguaro National Park, too. And, while I've never been I'll bet the
DeGrazia Gallery is interesting.
Have a safe and fun trip.
