Society Specialist
This position assists Executive Director and Curator with a variety of
tasks.  Responsible for volunteers, including docent program, arranging and
providing educational tours, membership database, and special events.
Candidate should be able to lift 20lbs, assist with museum store operations
and help oversee daily operations and maintenance of three sites.
Applicants should possess: B.A. degree in history, communications, museum
studies, or related field and have at least one year experience.
Experience in diplomacy, attention to detail, ability to interact with
volunteers, visitors, staff and board of directors is important.  Must be
familiar with computer databases (Past Perfect, Excel), Microsoft Office,
and e-mail/web.  35-40 hours/week with some evening and weekend hours
