Hi everyone,

I am a graduate student in museum studies, and I am doing research on
museums' use of digital media in conjunction with their exhibitions. The paper I am
writing will focus on ways in which museums can use digital media (such as web
sites and CD-ROMS) to enhance, supplement, and inspire interest in their
existing exhibits and collections. Also of concern to me are issues of copyright
and intellectual property, and how these issues pertain specifically to
digital media and museums as educational institutions.

I would like to hear from anyone who has been involved in digital media
projects used alongside exhibitions. Did you feel the project was successful?
What do you feel are the strengths and weaknesses of using digital media in this
way? And what are some pitfalls to watch out for in implementing digital
projects? Please e-mail responses to me at [log in to unmask]

Any help is greatly appreciated, even if it's just a pointer in the right
direction.
Thanks,

Andrew Goldstein
