The forest preserve district that I work for has several loan kits on areas of natural and cultural history. They are made up of a few books, several hands on items, in the case of the science kits pelts and skeltons are common in the cultural ones kids size clothes are popular. Reading lists (by grade) and activity sheets are also included. They are lent out for 2 weeks free of charge. Advertising about upcoming family events and an educational guide which highlights school programs are also included. This does bring people into the museum and nature center. If you want a more detailed list or info on a specific topic contact me off list. Annmarie ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information:
