My apologies for any cross-posting, but you may be interested in this
new development of a course that has been delivering postgraduate
education to museum professionals and others since 1993

Our website, www.ceramichistory.com contains details of how the entire
course is provided ‘at a distance’ with no campus visits required. The
course makes use of innovative VLE technology to deliver a visually rich
and stimulating educational experience. Visitors to our site can order a
free CD-ROM demonstration of the facilities that the course offers to
try out on their own computers.
It currently has students enrolled in Brazil, the USA and Wales, as well
as the United Kingdom. The course aims to provide a sound methodology
for students wishing to study this area, whether in its studio or
industrial form.
