I have done his at for school projects.  It simply involves a player to hook into a DVD board if your computer is so equipped and a CD R/W.  Simply download it into the computer -- it'll take a lot of memory -- then transfer it to the CD.  I have paid between $3 to $20 per CD for commercial replication.  Most new video cameras have digital replication and/or can playback and download into computer such data and can even be played back by most desktop computer platforms.  Multi-media events of course are capable through using programs such as MS PowerPoint, HyperStudio (commone with public school Apple platforms), and Lotus Freelance Graphics work well with most of these formats.  Good luck in your project.

Subject: data conversion

We are considering transferring some audio and VHS tapes to CD and DVD so the information is on the latest technology. Has anyone done this? What were your thoughts on it? Also, does anyone know where we could have this done or about how much it costs?

Thanks,
