I have changed to the digest as well.  It makes it great to work.  I have less email notice pop-ups when I'm in the middle of work on a document.  It is also a lot easier to follow a conversation of interest and skip others.

Subject: ATTN: DIGEST READERS- Please provide feedback re: digest
version of list

If digest readers would prefer, I can change the digest, limiting the digest
to no more than 1000 lines (if there are more than 1,000 lines in the day's
message total, you will recieve digests in 1,000 line blocks e.g. 3,000
lines= 3 messages, each titled MUSEUM-L DIGEST: SPECIAL ISSUE). I don't
expect that you would receive more than 3 messages daily.

This setting MUST be universal.

If I don't hear significant objections, I plan to implement this change on
Friday, May 9 2003.

If this change poses a difficulty for you, please feel free to contact me.

Please direct all comments on this to me PRIVATELY at [log in to unmask]
so as not to crowd the list.

Thanks for your support!

-Steve
