How very immature to reply online to a question I asked you offline.  I guess you missed the privacy issue here. Incredibly unprofessional, and a first for any group I have belonged to.  Anyway, you answered my last question.  I am sorry you thought it was ok to share what very intentionally sent to you only.

Since you Erica, without my permission, decided to share my personal email, I think this subject is on our minds and I have enjoyed reading both sides.  And while there has been some digression, the loss of the national identity of any culture in our profession is a natural topic to discuss.

I'm not the group leader, I'm a participant on the list. My response was not directed towards you personally, but towards all the various off-topic e-mails that have been posted recently. I'm sorry if you find me bossy and offensive. I suspect, however, that I'm not the only person who is tiring of non-museum related e-mails.

Subject: Are you the group leader

Just wondering--this is my first posting after reading and sitting back for months--so I find your email offensive--I did not start this discussion.  Hence I finally reply--and there have been people like Deb who have posted 80 emails--yet it is my one email you comment on.  Are you the "leader" or just bossy?
