Friday, May 30, 2003 at St. Petersburg College, Pinellas Park, FL from 9 am - 4 pm.

Learn about steps that can be taken before a storm hits that can increase an institution's chances for minimizing damage. This one day workshop focuses on the nature of hurricanes, general issues in developing a disaster plan; making your institution storm-proof; activities before, during, and after the storm; and sources of assistance.

Instructor for this session is Dr. Michael Trinkley, Director of Chicora Foundation.

Cost for $105 SOLINET members, all membership categories, ($95 early bird, $130 late registration); $145 Non-SOLINET members ($135 early bird, $170 late registration). Any institution within Florida qualifies for the member rate.
