SUGGESTION: How about dropping Eugene's name from the subject line? Gene is probably one of the most solid, rational members of this list. Rarely does he inspire controversy (and I know there's been a lot more than controversy in this discussion; there have been some great outcroppings). I know that when my name ends up in the subject line volleyed for days, it irks the heck out of me.
