8 x 8 role up doors or twin 4 x 8 swinging doors are the smallest
recommended doors for most museum. 10 x 10 are standards. Especially at
the loading dock area.

>We currently have 4'x8' double doors at our loading area entrance to
the
>building. We have a second set of 4'x8' doors between the loading area
>(which is part of an addition to the building) and the work area (which

>is part of the original building). We need to upgrade these doors for
>fire and security reasons. There has been some discussion about putting

>in smaller doors (but still double doors). What size of doors do other
>people have? Any recommendations?

>We are a small facility with approx. 2100 sq.ft. between 2 galleries
>(700 & 1400) for travelling exhibits.

>Thank you in advance.
