Sorry if this has been covered recently--I've searched the archives, but I haven't found a solid answer. I am looking to purchase a general use vacuum for our extremely varied collection--it includes textiles, television tapes, fine art, archival materials, photographs, you name it. Budget is of course not large, and I'd like something that has a proven track record. I envision using this vacuum for cleaning objects (needs to function as a blower and a vacuum) mostly, but it would be better if anyone knows of a machine that could also be used in general maintenance of a storage facility as well. Also, we'd like a vacuum with adjustable levels, for dealing with delicate objects. Someone has suggested the Data-Vac Cleaning System 2, available from Gaylord; anyone have input? Thanks!
