Hello Amy et al.: For an affordable, easy-to-use and fully-functional database, I suggest looking at "Organize! Your Collection" - the basic version includes 80 predefined categories (see: http://www.homecraft.com/OYC/oycfmt.html). For more details about the 'art' set-up, see: http://www.homecraft.com/OYC/HOME/art.html. It allows for the insertion of audio and picture files, and allows user to print a hard-copy record. (Of course, these predefined categories can be modified to suit the a user's needs.) [I used the freeware version of this program 10+ years ago to organize information about artwork for my "Introduction to Art History" examinations. There were 200 images each semester, and we had to know artist/maker, title(s), date(s), medium, original location, current location, description, symbolism, etc.] Sincerely, Jay Heuman Visitor & Volunteer Services Coordinator Joslyn Art Museum 2200 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE, 68102 342-3300 (telephone) 342-2376 (fax) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "You can’t lock up art in a vault and keep it frozen for posterity.
