Minimum Qualifications:
ˇ > Bachelor's degree in history or education.
ˇ > Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
ˇ > Good interpersonal skills
ˇ > Self-motivated.
ˇ > Maintenance or mechanical experience helpful.
ˇ > Able to work flexible hours and schedules.
ˇ > Elementary knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting.

Summary of Work:

Participate in the interpretive, protection, visitor services, maintenance activities, and resource management programs of Fort Buford State Historic Site and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center. Generate reports for the Site Supervisor III on maintenance, interpretive planning, work schedules, and program summaries. Assume management of the site in the absence of the Site Supervisor III. The position will require minimal overnight travel for training, meetings, and seminars. Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing working conditions and work schedules.
