Michelle,

If you have any exterior walls to your storage room you might want to consider a window air conditioning unit. Units are fairly inexpensive, and will do the job quite nicely. If you are working in an interior space, look into the cooling systems designed for computer rooms. Both should be relatively easy to find in your local area.

Subject: Cool Storage Vaults

Has any one had experience with converting a normal storage room into a cool
storage vault (average 40 degrees) for the storage of photographs and
negatives? What type of cooling system did you use? Was there a problem
with condensation? Any information/advice would be wonderful.

Thank you in advance!!
