Snug Harbor Cultural Center is a multi-faceted visual and performing arts organization located on an 83-acre, 28-building historic site in Staten Island, New York. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President/CEO has primary responsibility for leadership, strategic planning and fiscal management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in managing a complex urban cultural organization, and the ability to increase funding opportunities within the public and private sectors. The President/CEO sets the overall artistic tone and direction of the organization, and increases the Center's visibility and audiences. This position requires a minimum of ten years experience in a cultural leadership position, preferably in the visual or performing arts, historic preservation or site management. Experience with local and national arts communities and funding sources, and the ability to represent the Center effectively to its constituents, local businesses, and city, state and federal agencies are essential.
