John - I concur with what Mary said, with the following notes: - in some instances the lending institution might decide to carry the insurance on the loaned item and bill you for the cost of that coverage while it is in your possession - if the lender does not have a crate for artwork(s), they will have to build one and might bill you for its construction (and no, the crate isn't yours to keep) Best of luck, Kate M.
