Join us in the Empire State Capital Region for MAAM's 55th Annual Meeting!
On Friday and Saturday, October 25 - 26, the Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza Art Collection will host the symposium, "Nelson Rockefeller and Public Art: The Non-Traditional Museum," with guest speaker Glenn Lowry, director of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. This symposium is free of charge to all attendees but requires pre-registration.
On Saturday and Sunday, October 26-27, MAAM will offer additional pre-conference intensive workshops and tours of museums in Saratoga Springs and Albany, as well as a trip to MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA.
MAAM will officially kick off its 55th annual meeting with an opening reception on Sunday, October 27 at the New York State Museum. This year, the annual meeting includes museum evening events, sessions, MuseumFair 2002, poster sessions, roundtable discussions and other opportunities to network and engage with colleagues from the region.
