GRANTS ACCOUNTANT The Bronx Museum of the Arts Bronx, NY The Bronx Museum of the Arts is a twentieth-century and contemporary art museum, founded in 1971, to serve the culturally diverse populations of the Bronx and the greater New York metropolitan area. The Museum has a long-standing commitment to increasing and stimulating audience participation in the visual arts through its Permanent Collection, special exhibitions, and education programs. Responsibilities ·Report and maintain records of all grants. ·Assist the Director of Finance with G/L, journal entries, budget preparation, financial reports, and other duties. ·Interact with outside auditors. ·Plan budget with staff for 5-year grant term Qualifications ·Accounting Degree ·Five or more progressive years of experience with federal government grant contracts, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regulations A-133, and other regulatory term and conditions. ·Interpersonal skills, able to communicate with other departments and Federal Government offices. ·Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
