Subject: 16th Century Armor

A colleague who owns the helmet, breast, back and lip plates of a suit of
16th armor asked me post the following question to the list. How do you
care for the leather and the metal(which has some minor rust)? The armor
is in his private home and not in a museum if that makes any difference. We
will both appreciate any answers.
