Museum-lers Folks looking for an inexpensive memberhsip database should also look at "e-Base," a membership database from the TechRocks program. Their primary audience is activist communities, but e-base has been adapted by a few small museums. Its FREE and uses FileMaker as its database engine (ebase 2.0 comes with a single user license for FM). See http://www.techrocks.org Another good resource for software and techology advice is the Tech Soup web site at http://www.techsoup.org Tech Soup offers discounted software to 501c3 orgs through their DiscoutnTech program.
