Assistant Visitor Services Manager (R149L) The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity invites applications for a new full-time position that is immediately available. As Assistant Visitor Services Manager, you will participate in most aspects of daily visitor operations, plus logistics and scheduling of meetings and events (including paid clients) and coordination the Library's volunteer program. Specifically, candidates are needed with solid experience in visitor services, coordinating events and/or recruiting volunteers, and supervising temporary staff and vendors. The Library, opening September 29, 2002, is a place where people come together to explore the power of ideas throughout history to inspire individuals and change the world, the contemporary search for life's deeper meaning, and the ideas, life and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy. This world-class Library provides on-site and online educational experiences, programs, and exhibits, as well as user-friendly access to its collections through reference and research services. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the achievements of Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910), an acclaimed author, publisher, and religious leader whose ideas about spirituality and health have changed the lives of millions. As its primary resource, the Library will house the Mary Baker Eddy Collections, one of the largest by and about an American woman.
