Skokie Heritage Museum

 

Position: Museum Educator;

20 - 25 hours per week; must work Saturdays

$10 per hour

 

The Museum Educator is responsible for assisting the Museum Supervisor in the development and instruction of school programs as well as adult and children programs and birthday parties. The Museum Educator will also participate in planning special events and developing exhibits.   Other duties: recruits and supervises volunteers; assist in the management and maintenance of the museum; assist supervisor in handling and organizing the collection.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, museum studies, history or related field.

Experience: One – three years museum experience
