As a former teacher/assistant teacher to K-6th grade level students, you
would be surprised at how interested children can be when it comes to
learning about how something works (e.g., museum operations, what the museum
does, how the employees makes the museum interesting to the public)..as long
as you make it fun. I took a class to a an art gallery and the public
library..they were excited about the hi-tech conveyer belt that carried the
returned library books through the building and the ceiling and finally to
the storage room, where you can see the books dropped by a robotic arm into
their proper shelves.
