I'd like to make a suggestion as a result of reading the thread on museum education and how things work in a museum. You're probably also familiar with the concept of Take Your Daughter (Child) to Work Day. There are a lot of children's shelters filled with young people who might get to take advantage of the Take Your Daughter to Work Day because they are banned from contact with the abusive or nonpresent parent. There are many single people who don't have children who might benefit from showing young people the value of museums work. You might consider contacting a shelter in your area and working something out with the administrators to allow their residents to have some of these experiences with you. For many years, I was affiliated with one in my area, and I pared up several of the residents with other employees who didn't have children so that they could both enjoy the experience. It was extremely positive, and I recommend it to you if you can work it out. ===== Indigo Nights [log in to unmask] Looking for a job?
