Handhelds in the Museum Landscape is the culmination of CIMI's first year of research into the potential use scenarios for mobile computing, using hand held devices of all types, in the museum environment. We will present the findings of our research to date, participants and other invited guests, will present their work with mobile computing in museums and we will investigate several scenarios we are planning for the future.

Symposium attendees are also invited to attend the Intel Research Council's Arts and Entertainment Showcase, scheduled for the following morning, Tuesday, June 25th. 

There is no charge to attend the event. Participants are responsible for their own travel and related expenses. (We have secured rooms at a nearby hotel at a very low rate.)
