I fully agree with Gerri. There are just too many variables to consider when planning for a museum. Building and exhibits alike. Several weeks ago I sent out information on a pictorial exhibit price guide that I use quite often on Children’s Museum exhibit design. Even that has a wide range of variables to consider. When you are starting a project, especially a museum, do not get started off on the wrong foot. You will live with that decision for a long time. If you budget too low you may be sorry later when expectations are high and the final product is unacceptable. William M. Then contact several architectural firms that have designed buildings with requirements similiar to what a museum would need. Don't take up a lot of their time. Just tell them you are doing a preliminary needs assessment & only need a "ballpark" figure. This will save you a lot of time & frustration. Hope this helps.
